UL-CSRC COLLABORATION

Hooman Reyhani joined the Circuits and Systems Research Centre (CSRC) at the University of Limerick (UL) in 2014, bringing valuable expertise in data converter research and design. Since 2015, he has led the organization of these short courses in collaboration with the UL-CSRC research group. The global pandemic posed a significant challenge to the 2020 course schedule. However, Hooman turned this obstacle into an opportunity by launching the first-ever online IC design course in the series. Building on that success, he organized two additional online courses in 2021, each attracting over 100 participants from both industry and academia around the world. The growing international demand for his courses has led Hooman to establish a dedicated online portal to support and expand access for his global audience. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Hooman in the years ahead.

The online short-course, “Modern Wireline Transceivers”, January 2023, presented by Prof. Tony Chan Carusone and organized by Dr. Hooman Reyhani, is in my opinion an amazing example of advanced education.
